I am sitting here in the Taipei, Taiwan airport waiting for my next flight to Bangkok. The flight here was 13 hours of which I slept most of, thankfully. Our group was on a 747 and sat on the upper deck - it was AMAZING. I have officially been spoiled and don’t know that I could fly any other way. There was more leg room and space than I knew what to do with. Flying into Taipei was incredible as the country side looks like something straight out of Jurassic Park. We landed at about 5:00am Sunday, which is about 2pm Saturday for all of you. We are about 15 hours ahead here. My next flight to Bangkok is just under four hours, and then it is a two hour car ride to Pattaya. It is quit the journey to get to our final destination
My team is incredible - I am so blessed to be working and serving alongside such a talented group of people. We are the business team for Global Break Through and will be teaching sustainable business practices to women who have been rescued from the sex trade in Pattaya, Thailand. I personally will be using my 8 years of experience at Starbucks to teach customer service. The first night of teaching is tomorrow, Monday.
